Easily detect power lines hidden in your walls!

The Power Line Detector utilizes the magnetometer built into every iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad.

As you may be aware, power lines emit a magnetic field. The built-in magnetometer can detect these magnetic fields.

• How it works:

1. Remove any cover or frame that contains magnetic or metallic parts from your device as they can interfere with measurements.
2. Start the app.
3. Slowly move your device close to the area suspected of containing a power line with voltage.

If voltage is present, the display will flash, the mG reading will increase, and a message saying "Voltage detected" will appear. Note: mG stands for milliGauss, a unit used to measure magnetic field strength.

It is recommended to test the app by moving it slowly to an area where voltage is known to be present, such as the cable running to your room light. Computers and electronic devices are not ideal for testing the app's function as they are often shielded against magnetic and electric fields, which can affect the readings.
